Where To Stay In Shenzhen?
When it comes to deciding where to stay in Shenzhen it will really depend on your purpose for being there. There are many different areas in Shenzhen, the main ones being Luohu district, Nanshan district and Futian Shenzhen.
One of the best places to stay in Shenzhen for shopping is near Dongmen Old Street Shenzhen. Shopping in Shenzhen is one of the main reasons people visit Shenzhen, but be prepared, Dongmen Pedestrian Street is crazy busy! This is in the Luohu district, which is also the district where you will find the main entry from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, Luohu Port. Luohu is one of the best areas for tourists who want to explore.
We stayed in the Futian district in Shenzhen, which is also quite well located. Here you will find some shopping and the central business district of Shenzhen. The Huaqiangbei commercial street within Futian is a hub of electronics manufacturing and shops. The Futian district is the best area to stay in Shenzhen for business trips. But it is also home to some amazing 5 star hotels in Shenzhen, so can be a great option for tourists as Futian is well connected to other parts of Shenzhen. If you stay in the Futian district you may be able to get a hotel shuttle to the Futian Port entry to Hong Kong.
One of the best areas to stay in Shenzhen for families is the Nanshan district, which is where you will find a lot of tourist attractions.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Langham Shenzhen. The service was so attentive and really felt tailored to you personally throughout your stay. The design was stunning, somehow accomplishing refined and elegant combined with cosy and comfortable… from curtains that open with a push of a button from bed to an in-room fireplace you feel you could have a picnic in front of. I can’t speak highly enough of our experience of The Langham Shenzhen.
