After spending over 3 memorable months in Hoi An and trying endless restaurants, it’s safe to say we had our favourites by the end. Hoi An has some of our favourite food in Vietnam, so make sure to eat as much as you can! Here is what we think are the best Hoi An restaurants.

Hoi An Restaurants | Vietnamese Cuisine
Streets
Streets is a delicious Vietnamese restaurant in Hoi An. It has excellent service and also has a hospitality and culinary training program for disadvantaged young people. My pick for where to eat in Hoi An for excellent service and Vietnamese food in a restaurant.
17 Le Loi Street
Every day from 12 pM to 10 PM
Orivy
Orivy serves authentic Vietnamese food with a beautiful outdoor seating area. Come here to try some delicious Vietnamese food for lunch or dinner.

An Gia Cottage
Where to eat in Hoi An? This is one of my favourite places! Located closer to the beach (but not on the beach), this little cottage has delicious Vietnamese food and absolutely amazing smoothies. My pick for where to eat in Hoi An for Vietnamese food in a nice environment.
93 Lac Long Quan
Monday – Saturday 11 AM – 10 PM + Sunday 5 PM – 9 PM
Baby Mustard
A perfect place for lunch or an early dinner in Tra Que Herb Village. Sit in the open seating area near their garden and enjoy Vietnamese food. The food here was enjoyable but you come here more for the location and garden setting.
Đường Biển, Tra Que Herb Village
Red Dragon Restaurant
In their own words, they provide a ‘contemporary, creative and refined take on classic Vietnamese cuisine using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients where possible’. We had a delicious meal here that was a little fancier then some others.
332 Cửa Đại
Every day from 11.30 AM to 10 PM
Morning Glory
Ever so popular but for good reason, Morning Glory is a great place to go to taste Vietnamese food. Keep in mind you may have to book as this place gets very busy.
106 Nguyễn Thái Học
Vy’s Market | Kitchen And Deli
Like Morning Glory, Vy’s Market was started by Ms Vy, a restaurateur and chef. Vy’s Market serves a huge array of Vietnamese dishes, and now you can also sit outside near the river in the new ‘Kitchen and Deli’ section.
3 Nguyen Hoang Street
Ho Lo Quan
There’s nothing flashy about Ho Lo Quan, but it also has some of my favourite Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pankcake with pork and prawn and greens) in Vietnam. My pick for where to eat in Hoi An for the best Banh Xeo.
Ho Lo Quan
20 Tran Cao Van
Minh Hien Vegetarian Restaurant
A vegetarian restaurant that has delicious Vietnamese dishes in a casual setting.
Minh Hien Vegetarian Restaurant
50 Trần Cao Vân
Every day from 9 AM to 10 PM
Nem
Nem is on Cam Nam Island, which is just over the bridge from the Central Market. One of the best parts about Nem is sitting outside along the river looking back at the old town. Admittedly we only had a drink and one dish here, but the dish we had was delicious and the view and ambience made this place special. The menu is traditional Vietnamese with a few adventurous items.
Luong Nhu Bich, Cam Nam
Hoi An Restaurants | Asian Fusion Cuisine
Mango Rooms
Asian fusion food in a nice environment. Mango rooms is a great restaurant to go to for a nice evening out.
111 Nguyen Thai Hoc

Nu Eatery
A small cozy restaurant in a small alley, Nu Eatery serves simple Asian fusion dishes. Delicious food, great location and well designed.
10A Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai
Monday – Saturday 12 PM – 9 PM
The Sea Shell by Nu Eatery
Another venture from Nu Eatery, The Sea Shell is a beautiful venue near An Bang Beach serving Asian fusion dishes.
Nguyen Phan Vinh

White Marble Bar
White Marble Bar is a restaurant and wine bar in the old town. It serves Vietnamese and modern Asian dishes with a great atmosphere.
White Marble Bar
98 Lê Lợi
Hoi An Restaurants | Non-Vietnamese Alternatives
Hola Taco
If your short on time then it’s probably best to focus on Vietnamese food when in Hoi An, but if you’re staying a little longer or in need of a change, then Hola Taco have great Mexican food.
9 Phan Chau Trinh
Monday – Saturday 11 AM – 10 PM
Good Morning Vietnam
A popular Italian restaurant in Hoi An, great if you want a change of cuisine.
Good Morning Vietnam
11 Le Loi
Ganesh
Ganesh is an Indian Restaurant that has a few branches throughout Vietnam. I must say, I absolutely love the food here. My pick for where to eat in Hoi An if you do feel like a change from Vietnamese food.
24 Trần Hưng Đạo
Every day from 11.30 AM to 10.30 PM
Circle
The menu here is quite mixed from American style burgers to noodle dishes and some Asian inspired food. A hard one to describe but it hits the spot!
